Our Story
At Shrubscribe, we believe every story deserves to be told — and seen, heard, and read the way the author imagined. Many authors struggle to find a publishing path that keeps their creative control intact while delivering professional-quality results. Inspired by this gap, we founded Shrubscribe to be more than just a services provider. We set out to become a partner, working hand in hand with authors to transform their manuscripts into books that feel complete — inside and out.
Today, we offer end-to-end support: from drafting and editing, to formatting, cover design, print-ready layout, and global print-on-demand distribution. We built Shrubscribe on three core beliefs: respect for author voice, transparency in process, and uncompromising quality in publishing.

Annie’s journey began in medicine, where precision, empathy, and attentive observation shaped the way she approached every life she touched. Over time, she realised that these same qualities—care, clarity, and a deep respect for human expression—were also the foundation of great storytelling. What started as a passion for creativity gradually evolved into a calling to help authors bring their words to life in the most thoughtful and visually refined way.
As the Founder and CEO of Shrubscribe, Annie leads the design, formatting, and production arm of the company with a rare balance of artistic sensitivity and operational discipline. She ensures every book is crafted with clean structure, visual harmony, and professional production standards that meet global publishing expectations. Under her leadership, manuscripts transform into beautifully designed books that honour the author’s voice and elevate the reading experience.
Annie’s transition from medicine to publishing reflects her core belief that clarity, compassion, and thoughtful guidance can empower people—whether through healing or through storytelling.
