3.1 You retain full ownership of your manuscript, illustrations, and any creative material submitted to Shrubscribe (“Author Content”).

3.2 You represent that the Author Content you submit does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

3.3 You are solely responsible for ensuring that your work complies with all intellectual property laws.

To deliver the Services you have requested, you grant Shrubscribe a non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use, modify, edit, format, design, and process your Author Content strictly for the purpose of completing your project.

By engaging Shrubscribe for any Service, you grant us permission to display your name, book title, book cover, and brief project description solely for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, including our website, brochures, social media, and presentations.

We commit to showcasing your work professionally, respectfully, and without disclosing any confidential or unpublished material.

If you prefer that your name or book not be displayed, you may request withdrawal from promotional use at any time, and we will respect such requests promptly.

Shrubscribe maintains strict confidentiality regarding all manuscripts and communications. Apart from the permitted portfolio use outlined above, we do not share, sell, or disclose your work or personal information to any third party without your consent.

All timelines provided for editing, formatting, cover design, or publishing are estimates. Delays may occur due to manuscript complexity, revision cycles, or third-party processes. Shrubscribe is not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Each Service includes a specific number of revisions, as stated in your service plan. Additional revisions may incur extra charges, which will be communicated in advance.

9.1 All payments are due as per the plan selected or as stated in the invoice.

9.2 Refunds are not offered once work has commenced, as our Services involve dedicated time and creative effort.

9.3 In exceptional cases, Shrubscribe may, at its discretion, issue a partial refund where no significant work has been delivered.

If your package includes Print-on-Demand, eBook distribution, or marketplace uploads, Shrubscribe will assist in the process but does not guarantee acceptance, visibility, or sales performance on third-party platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Google Play, or others.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate personal and book information
• Deliver manuscripts in compatible formats
• Respond promptly during editing or design cycles
• Secure necessary permissions for any third-party content used in your book

Shrubscribe is not responsible for:

• Loss of data caused by external factors
• Marketplace delays or rejections
• Sales performance or royalties
• Legal issues arising from the Author Content

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold Shrubscribe harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

• Copyright infringement
• Defamation
• Plagiarism
• Any legal dispute related to your Author Content

Shrubscribe may suspend or terminate Services if:

• Payments are not made
• The author engages in abusive or unlawful behavior
• The manuscript contains prohibited or harmful content

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Services after updates constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable within India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
